Co-Founder/Co-Owner

Christina Peterek is Co-Owner of South Georgia Behavior Associates and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has been in the field of behavior analysis since 2015 and in the mental health field since 2012. She earned her Criminal Justice Degree from the Community College of the Air Force in 2009. She then graduated with her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology in 2012 from the American Military University. After this time, Christina spent three years working in the mental health field serving individuals with serious mental illness and intellectual and developmental disabilities. While serving this population, Christina found a true passion for behavior analysis. In August of 2015, Christina enrolled into the University of Cincinnati to further her studies. She graduated in December of 2016 with her Master’s in Education in Foundations in Behavior Analysis. Christina has been Board Certified as a Behavior Analyst since February 2017.

Christina is originally from Houston, Texas. She lived in the Houston area until she enlisted in the United States Air Force in June 2004. She served proudly as a Security Forces member until December 2009. She is now a proud Air Force wife as her husband, Josh, is currently stationed at Moody AFB, GA. They reside in Hahira, GA with their two children, Samantha (age 13) and Joshua (age 11.) Christina and her family are proud to call Georgia their home. Christina has been serving the community in South Georgia since 2017. She continues to strive to serve families in the local community with quality applied behavior analysis services.

While she received great experience and mentorship in Georgia, she decided she wanted to do more for the community. Applied behavior analysis services are limited in the Valdosta area and as a direct result, Christina partnered with Summer Mingo as Co-Founders/Owners of South Georgia Behavior Associates to offer even more quality services to the local area. Christina is committed in providing high quality, and ethically sound treatment for families in the local area. She hopes to elevate the standards of applied behavior analysis and provide a truly exceptional experience for her families. Christina focuses hard on providing children with client centered treatment and strives to meet each child where they are at. Christina is fueled by her commitment to improving the lives and overall wellbeing of both the children she serves as well as their families.
